INSTRUCTIONS AT CHECK-IN AND ON EMBARKATION

Fold your blue wheelchair bag so that its black handle is available at the top of the smaller bag that holds it.
Stow your wheelchair bag (in its own bag) on the back of your wheelchair.

At the check-in desk state clearly that you wish to use your wheelchair until you reach the aircraft.
This will give you some privacy and will also ensure that, should there be delays, you are in a familiar wheelchair
until you can board.

The baggage handling ticket for the wheelchair MUST be attached to the BLACK handle of the large blue
wheelchair bag (and not to the handle of the small red bag holding it).

On arrival at the aircraft, you will be transferred to an airline wheelchair.  Fold your wheelchair.  Unpack the blue bag
and slide the wheelchair into it along with its own bag.  Ensure that the baggage handling ticket is prominent.
Zip up the bag and the airline staff can carry it into the hold.

If for any reason the airline staff prevent you from using your own wheelchair up to the aircraft, transfer from your
wheelchair to theirs at their luggage trolley and then pack your wheelchair into its bag.
Airline staff can lift the bag onto their luggage trolley.

On disembarkation your wheelchair will be delivered with your luggage.
If you wish, you can request that your wheelchair is unloaded when you leave the aircraft
but this may not always be possible.

Happy Travelling
